June 22nd  ‘Paint Me Empowered’

High school students & established artists team up as mentor & mentee to lead an empowerment series with a group of young girls.  We’re implementing ways to give opportunities to young women with their give back to young girls.

Back To School Drive & Bash

We’ve partnered with organizations in Oakland & Alameda County to raise funds & items for kids going back to school this fall.  We’re collecting items & donations in conjunction with our #BlackGirlsMatter Campaign.  We are aiming to give a way a minimum of 300 bags at this year’s bash.

So Excited To Bring A Mini Mad Hatter’s Tea Party To The Village Oakland. Continuing Our #BlackGirlsMatter Campaign With Organizations Whose Missions Are Aligned With SousSHE’s, ASPIRE TO INSPIRE ONE GIRL AT A TIME.

Aspire to Inspire One Girl At A Time…Our first Paint Me Empowered with little black girls.  We’re excited to bring together little black girls into a setting to feel empowered, encouraged and brag a little about themselves.  We’ll have a few minutes before to share a little about one another. There will be refreshments and music. There are only 15 seats for this event.  Our canvas ‘The Rose’ is a donated piece by one of SousSHE‘s allies and contributors, Randy Babb of NoPrints.  This event will produce pieces for Food Art & Love Noir that will be up for auction as part of our #BlackGirlsMatter campaign
