Every Black girl deserves the opportunity to soar—to be nurtured, empowered, and uplifted in spaces designed for her growth, success, and well-being.
The SousSHE Girl Program is a structured mentorship, leadership, and empowerment initiative that offers young Black girls and young women the tools, resources, and sisterhood needed to navigate the world with confidence and purpose.
By becoming a SousSHE Girl, participants will grow through our programs, moving seamlessly into the next phase of their journey, ensuring continued support, exposure, and development at every stage.
The SousSHE Girl Pathway

Each age group will has tailored programming, mentorship, and experiential learning opportunities, ensuring that every girl is supported and encouraged to take the next step in her journey.
What Does It Mean to Be a SousSHE Girl?
You Represent: As a SousSHE Girl, you proudly exclaim, “I am a SousSHE Girl, and I Soar Black Girl!” everywhere you go.
You Belong: You are part of a sisterhood of Black girls & young women committed to self-growth, culture, and leadership.
You Grow: You get exclusive access to workshops, leadership retreats, sister circles, and career exploration opportunities.
You Lead: You represent SousSHE in schools, community events, and social spaces, serving as an advocate and ambassador for Black girls everywhere.
Exposure to Culture & Arts | Art, music, dance, poetry, and creative expression through Paint Me Empowered and storytelling experiences.
Leadership & Personal Development | Public speaking, confidence-building, and workshops led by inspiring Black women mentors.
Civic Engagement & Social Justice | Learning about activism, Black history, civic responsibility, and community impact.
Health, Wellness & Mental Well-being | Yoga, movement, fitness, self-care, and healing circles through SousSHE’s wellness programs.
Culinary & Etiquette Training | Monthly Culinary Cuties Classes & Etiquette Training in Black women-owned restaurants.
Financial Literacy & Career Exploration | Understanding money, budgeting, and career pathways through our SousSHE Wealth & Entrepreneurship Initiatives.
How Does It Work?
Girls ages 8-13 become SousSHE Cuties, attending age-appropriate workshops & fun learning experiences.
At age 13, girls seamlessly transition into the SousSHE Teens program, with expanded leadership & mentorship opportunities.
At age 18, they graduate into SousSHE Young Leaders, preparing for college, careers, and community impact.
At 25, they become SousSHE Alumni, continuing to give back by mentoring younger girls in the program.
